Subject	Is Mitsubishi CAS better than Nissan OEM?

Message	I'm doing the timing belt on my car and noticed that my CAS has the Mitsubishi symbol on it. WTH??? Is it ok to replace Nissan's OEM CAS with a Mitsubishi part, or was the previous owner just a Tool? Does the Mitsubishi part have the same calibration as it's OEM equivalent? Also, does anyone have any idea what's the purpose of this mystery hole (click here)? If it's supposed to be open or plugged?
