Daaaayum. Just read about the 2002 M3. For a $3000 option, you can get a 6 speed sequential manual gearbox (SMG-II). Paddle shifters on the steering column!! It checks to see if the desired shift is safe, activates the clutch, shifts, and lets out the clutch as fast as the BMW F1 car (300-400 msec). May have to plop down my deposit this week and get one of those crazy machines next year. The Z is cool, but real-life paddle shifters sounds more fun than shooting cats. Link #1. Link #2. DR
