Message What are you hoping for? There's enough Sport 530 dynos out
there that show the potential. But it all depends on
supporting mods, how fresh the engine is (lots of tired 100K+
engines out there), what kind of dyno, etc.

Here is where I think the upper end of the potential is of a
Sport 530 car (and probably a hair low on a 550 car)...

This dyno was on a Dyno Dynamics load bearing dyno
(otherwise known as the "Heartbreaker"). I was just at a dyno
session for a car that put down 520 rwhp on a Dynojet and it
did 475 on the Dyno Dynamics. So there are a lot of things
that matter. That being said, Mike's got a street tune of
around 475 rwhp/475 rwtq at 18 psi on 94 octane if I'm not
mistaken. And that's on a Dyno Dynamics. That's a really fast
car. My Audi S4 will trap in the high 1 teens and it put down
365 to all 4 wheels on a Dyno Dynamics. If you tell people 365
hp, you sometimes won't get much respect. But that would
be well over 400 awhp on a Dynojet. The car is fast.

Knowing what I know about my local Dyno Dynamics dyno, I'm
expecting around 425 rwhp on 93 octane with some Specialty
Z custom tuning (when we get to that point) and around 460-
475 on 100 octane. If I get these numbers, I'll be VERY
happy.

TTZMatt: did i ever think id be the guy to sell the z or go
kart?
TTZMatt: no
TTZMatt: but now that ive found true love, i dont care about
it anymore
TTZMatt: lol
