I recently purchased 3 x NISMO 555cc injectors from another tt.net member, because 3 of mine had failed due to the ethanol in the fuel. I specifically asked the member if those injectors had been sitting in a car as well, and I was assured they were fully functional. I paid a little over $200 for the 3 used injectors, which were from a batch from which one also had failed from ethanol corrosion. According to the seller, these 3 ohm'ed ok and clicked prior to shipping. My only way of testing them was installing them. After 6 days of work to remove and reinstall the injectors, the used ones I just installed, 2 of them worked for 20 minutes, then stopped working. Now they work every now and then, but don't work most of the time. The seller claims that there is no warranty on used electrical parts, and that Nissan doesn't even warranty injectors. But I have bought injectors from Nissan before, they never stop working after a few minutes, and definitely if 2 of the 3 did, it would not be considered a coincidence. The 3 of mine that I replaced, those work sometimes too, but not always, that's why I replaced them. It seems to me that the seller probably knew these didn't work all the time. Like if I removed the other 3 that I have in my car that work right now, I wouldn't sell them as "fully functional" to others, if the other 3 had faild from the ethanol in gas. After installation of these 3 used injectors, I shorted my fuel pump relay and ran the tank bone dry, then went and bought 100% gas from a gas station that sells that, to avoid exposing them to any ethanol, but they failed after 20 minutes anyway. The seller claims that since they worked for a few minutes, it's not his/her problem since these are electrical parts. I think that the seller knew of their condition, and sold them to me anyway. Now I have to buy 2 more new injectors plus the price I already paid for the 2 faulty used ones, I spent 6 days removing and re-installing the upper plenum for no reason, and lots of time and money on other gaskets and hoses, all for no reason. I'm not saying the seller is reasponsible for that, but I should at least get a refund for the 2 out of 3 injector he/she sold me, that failed right after installation. Do you guys agree or disagree with me?Thanks for your inputs
