Message CF is a synthetic material created for a
purpose. Gold and platinum were
ORIGINALLY used PURELY as DECORATION
because of their HEFTY price due to their
RARITY and LUSTER compared to say, lead.
Their value due to heat retention signal
transfer etc was found AFTERWARDS (i don't
think Xerxes was rocking Shure SE530s).

Having the LOOK of carbon fiber when it is
really carbon fiber is what I'm against
personally. CF items that are actually CF, I'm
50/50 on, because the weight savings is
negligable and won't help you that much, and
the part most probably was meant to be
shown off (i.e. CF driveshafts for us are
utterly useless, but weigh a lil less and in
some rare situation may be safer than an
aluminum if it breaks off, but I digress).

High end cars use CF for purposes we don't
(zonda uses CF for entire PANELING).

This should have been emailed, but I hope
Nixit ranting discouraging retarded usage of
CF stickers, cloth, any of that fake shit...if it
does that, his rants actually did some good.
