Message Instead, went back to my gripping roots and did an event with two fellow members on here. Both Keith (canyoncarver) and Jerry (intocarss) came along with me to an event on the West Loop of Buttonwillow. Such a fun event. Felt refreshing to do a grip event again.
Here is a video of Keith's GoPro that was facing rearwards as I was following. We got held up by a stupid Mazda3 than would not let us pass for laps, but once he let us pass, we started hauling ass again, haha.

Before anyone asks, I did not do the event with the 19s on the rear. Instead I swapped out to some 18x9.5 +8 wheels with some 265/35-18 RE01Rs. Up front, I had my usual 18x9.5 +8 with 255/35-18 Toyo R1Rs.
Towards the end of the day, the R1Rs were not gripping as much as they used to, and I was dealing with very slight understeer at the limit. Most likely caused by the combination of the R1Rs giving out and my LSD dying on my. I wasn't able to rotate using the throttle anymore. But nothing an LSD swap won't fix. On to more pics. Enjoy.

I'm also running Powertrix UltraLites and they managed the course amazingly. Very smooth and predictable. I had also just installed a Powertrix rear strut bar. Definitely felt the difference in the rear. It felt a lot more stable and planted, both in the esses while riding up on the birms, and in the long sweepers. When the LSD was still holding up kinda of decently, throttle rotation was a breeze. Car just felt solid overall.

Can't wait for the next event. It's always a lot more fun when you go to an event with friends.

Here are a few shots of Jerry and Keith I found as well...
