though there's tons of misinformation floating around about it - lots of news agencies have contradicted each other about it, and I did a little looking and couldn't find any technical info (bad sign). I'm skeptical of how efficient it is when compared to other energy sources on a macroscopic scale. That is, does it live up to the claims that it's going to revolutionize energy production and distribution. I very much doubt it. It's very atypical for engineers to go getting so much media attention and hype for an idea that can sell itself on real-world principles. That's the job for the marketing department. And if the engineer (who solely designed this??) feels it necessary to market on his own, something is up.
