Message	Urbana/Champaign. The materials programs were comparable but the people at Purdue were much nicer. My coworker in the office next to me graduated from Urbana's materials program and he seems to have recieved an excellent education. West Lafayette/Lafayette is a decent size area but it's still surrounded by corn fields and nothingness. Its still a Walmart centric town, but has whatever else you'd need. (Theres a full size Best Buy next to the mall) I'd take a google maps tour to get an idea of what I mean. www.selindesign.net
