| My Z handled better with stock wheels than my SSR GT1's. I would guess that the Z handles better with stock wheels than 90% of the aftermarket larger, heavier, wheels folks put on their Z's. And what about the venting the stock wheels supposedly provides to the brakes, is that overrated too? Maybe so. However, bigger wheels allow for bigger brakes, and that is a huge upgrade for getting around the track quicker. Stock brakes fade pretty bad under hard use, so if bigger wheels lead to bigger brakes, then that is well worth it. As the saying goes about turns, "Enter slow, come out fast; enter fast, come out dead . . ." or something like that.
