I bought this motor that just came out of machine shop that was supposedly rebuilt. However i have some questions about it. I was told that the heads are n/a however have all the TT components installed. I was also told that the heads were ported out to match the specs of the TT head ports. Also its supposedly a TT block, however im not so sure of that either. There are bolts that block the passeges where the turbo oil lines go, and im pretty sure there is some difference in the oil fitler tree port thats on the block. Arent both passeges supposed to be open (without that little ball) Also it doesnt seem like the heads were ported at all considering when you look inside the ports where the exhaust manifolds go, there is still gunk in there. You can also see some of the old gasket caked on where the exhaust manifolds go, and would't the machine shop of cleaned all that off if they ported the heads? I can't see the pistons so im not sure whether they are TT or n/a. Is there another way to tell? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks
