and internship opportunities. I'm a Temple university student in the business school and was looking around for internships, when I thought of the automotive industry. I looked up Nissan and found some pretty cool articles, one in particular deals with interns interested in design and working with Nissan designers. Nissan design internship I wanted to ask any of you who have experience, what kinds of opportunities there are to gain experience through interning or possibly working in the business end of the automotive industry (not necessarily just Nissan)? For instance, we were talking in my Risk Management course about the "Toyota stuck accelerator problem." I was thinking how the PR and management departments are dealing with this as well. Having read a lot of articles on marketing, sales and management in the auto industry there must be a large demand for those with business degrees and interests in the automotive world. I am sure it is a competitive job market as well. Anyone who can give insight or has experience in this area, it would be great to hear your input or insight! I know Carlos Goshen got his start after he completed his engineering degree, which seems like most CEO's backgrounds (though I think a current or past GM CEO was once assembly line worker if I'm not mistaken). Also, Z's are #1!
