| and iDon't foresee that happening :) Motorola did a pretty good job on the Droid's hardware, in my opinion. Dual-core processor, slightly bigger screen than the iPhone, and a long list of other cool hardware specs. What's not to like? The way things are headed, it's going to be interesting to see how long Apple can maintain their lead in the smart phone arena. Spec for spec, as far as hardware goes.. the Droid is the clear winner. For the Apple fanboys... picture and video messaging worked seamlessly right out of the box.. kind of a major thing the iPhone fumbled with pretty badly for a long time there... no? Could you imagine the backlash had the 1st generation Droid shipped without this functionality?! All said, NO gadget is perfect, but the more open the hardware is, the better (as far as development goes). The Android OS might not be as widely supported right now, but give it a year or two to catch up! :) I personally know several developers who have released iPhone apps who are already working (and excited) to release new Android versions.
