But I'll be nice and simplify it for you. I've got the SPL solid bushings for the subframe and the diff because #1: SPL is very popular here and they've always treated me well, and #2: I don't mind a harsh ride. The ES kit you got has a lot more bushings in it than just the subframe and diff bushings. It includes front & rear sway bar bushings, steering rack bushings, strut arm, and control arm bushings. I don't know why you'd be buying it without knowing that, but I'm just making sure. The SPL subframe bushings come with collars because their latest version of those bushings allows you to shorten the subframe height by 1/4" or 1/2". Solid bushings are (obviously) going to transmit vibration/noise a lot more readily than the ES poly bushings, and they're going to outlast any poly bushing. Many people prefer the ES because of the reduced noise and less harsh ride, and unless it's *really* a track car, I would say it makes almost no difference which you use as far as driveability is concerned. My car has very stiff suspension and already had a good bit of differential noise, but that doesn't bother me, personally. The solid bushings were a big improvement over stock. Bottom line, I'd stick with what you bought because you'll probably be most pleased with it.
