As far as the airdam design for side mount intercoolers go. Its really gonna depend on what you're using. The boxed in section shown on the NA airdam will obviously not run through on the TT with side mounts like it does on the NA because of the lack of space. However, airflow and cooling will not be any less efficient. The NA requires the boxed in section to direct the airflow and assist the velocity of exiting to the brake ducting, while avoiding air turbulance caused by the large cavity. Unfortunately the space on the TT models at the Side mount I.C's are so limited, that there is no practical way to make this standard to fit the all various intercoolers while keeping R&D costs down. However, Considering the travel of airflow through this section of the TT cars, it is a mod that yields little gain in airflow through this section.
