Subject	by now, it would be impossible to get that back to OEM.

Message	too many parts would have rusted/broken off that are unobtainable. To be a true collectors item, it has to look like it came off the showroom floor, and that means every bolt. I say go for the VG swap, and get it looking outside as decent as possible. It wont be perfect but its 98% is pretty damn close and doable.
