Also, I don't understand how a car, whether "street" or "track" would be affected differently. Since weather change seems to contribute the largest change in tune for a MAP system, if the humidity and air pressure rose and you had driven to a higher altitude to go to a track, it doesn't matter if you're at the track or on the street... its still going to affect the tune the same, correct?

Forgive me, but I'm not understanding what the difference between a street and a track car would matter in this case.
