Message I am looking to go to a MAP setup to get a better airflow reading and get the known results from a MAP system such as crisper throttle, somewhat better mileage (not really caring about mileage) and whatever else one could expect from a MAP system. I'll honestly say I'm not too informed about MAP setups so in addition to the thoughts of fellow owners I am looking for some more information on MAP systems.

I've searched the forums and can't find too much other than comparisons between MAP and MAF.

If I run MAF, I will be running true dual MAF. This to mean separate intake piping with separate filters and two MAFs total along with the Sellin kit.

From what I have found, the MAP sensors are better at readings across the board since they rely on pressure and not pure airflow. They are also said to be tuned almost as easy as MAF setups.

I have had my eye on a HKS VPC system, but from what I can see, and with the input from my machinist, and builder it is an old and outdated system.

Tonight I came across Performance Motorsports Research. They have two different MAP sensor kits and I don't really understand much difference between the specs and am looking for someone to assist in clearing this up.

Any and all comments are appreciated as I would like to learn more than what I am finding through Google and the forums.
