Message	on their own car. I installed my own alarm a few years ago. The first thing I did when I finished was put myself into the mindset of a thief, and try to steal my own car. Needless to say the alarm was defeated in about 5 minutes. I ended up making a lot of changes before I was satisfied. Anyways, the alarm is only as good as the installation. And a crappy installation can actually make it easier for someone to steal your car.
