Message I want to ask first to avoid any extra labor / damage to the car.

I am replacing my PCV valves and I was wondering if this would work. I have installed 2 new rear hoses with new valves and connected everything to the plenum like stock setup. Now I want to remove the front two hoses that go from the plenum to intake accordion piping and cap off accordion pipe. Should I install breather filters on the now open front plenum tubes or just leave them bare?

For off road purposes is this the most optimal setup short of installing a oil catch can / PCV reroute re-tapping valve covers? I don't want a boost leak / crappy idle.

Also what is the best recommended sealant used to apply to the threads on the two hex hose fittings?
