I repeat, in California, any time you drop your insurance coverage to less than the state's requirements (which is some number that I don't remember since I have more than required) for liability coverage, your registration is canceled. Simple as that. No exceptions, no loopholes, nada, zip, zilch. Well, in the law, that is. So that means the other members posting "fire and theft" won't fly in Cali.
