Message no insurance = no registration, no exceptions. If the car is still owened by a financial institution you have to have insurance until is payed off.
You could probably get collectors insurance, not sure what's available in your state but check Grundy Ins. and search TT.Net also, many members (including my self) have collector's insurance. I'm paying now an agreed value, my yearly payments are $400.00 per year for full coverage vs. $900.00 in the past for less than 6 months + having to pass full inspection and new registration every year so that's close to another $100.00.
hope this helps.
BTW 3 of the LED bulbs I got from your kit were bad (2 with broken prongs from the resistors), just haven't gotten around to tell you that.

"Wednesday's I host American Idol parties at my place. I'm in a betting pool with a $300 first prize, and we do food and booze and watch the #1 show in America. Real red white and blue stuff :P
Tuesdays I go to my buddies place to watch, but I don't have to be there till 9ish." (protecting the author)
