When I had to replace my door hinges I had a buddy help. Remove the fender from the side your working on and take off the 4 bolts holding on the door hinge. There is a glue/putty which hold them on so give it a little tug and it will pull off. Make sure you have support on the door because of the weight. When you are ready to install place the door in the body opening (like its closed). I used shims from home depot just the cheap wooden ones and shimmed the door across the bottom. Once you think you have the right gap put the hinge bolts back in. Remove shims and more than likely you will have a perfectly working/ locking door.
