there was a post earlier about it with a link ([ http://www.newsday.com/news/daily/lidrag25.htm ]) and I think racing is getting bigger and bigger everyday. For those who think that their illegal racing hangouts are big, get this. there is a place in maryland called "METRO". its 4 lane road which happens to be exactly a 1/4 mile strip. on one end, there is two gas stations and each is packed with 30 or so cars. 1 by 1 people go and race. there are cops everywhere flashing their lights, blocking off fast get-aways and so on. its exactly like the scene from fast and ferious at the gas stations when the cops shows up and starts flashing their lights. there is an accident every week there! Now the funny part........this place is so famouse for drag racing that it was mentiond in MAXIUM (SP?) magazine and in the front of the metro page of Washington Post. Most VA, MD, DC racers know this place.
