| While I fully agree that the ethanol in our fuel is the culprit for many people's high failure rates (of new pintle type injectors), I find it hard to believe that after 20 years poor design is the culprit. A good number of those years this car lived with ethanol added fuels. What I was trying to get across was the notion that once the original injectors start to go on the car, the rest will go in short order. Even if they're cleaned and serviced. Doing it over I would have at the very least gotten old style 555cc injectors with a chip. If money wasn't tight then I probably would have just shelled out for upgraded rails that would allow me to run the new style (pintleless) 740cc injectors.
