| I think we can all feel your pain. My paint is tired and this is exactly why I am reluctant to have it shot. My stock wing is coming off over xmas break to be replaced (my wife's xmas gift to me) and I am concerned about having the paintwork done. The good news is that that shop doing the work has done several jobs for me (mostly putting cars that my kids have hit back together) and all their work has been good so far. Years ago, I asked an old guy that was a Porsche guru if you could put a 914 motor in a bug. I have applied his response to many situations since then......"Son, you could put a winshield wiper on a billy goats ass, but I don't know why you would want to".
