I lost mine 6 months after I got the car
when I spun off an icy road backwards into
a ditch full of snow. Snow force it out and
tore the mount holes in the bumper. To fix
it right means new bumper, paint and new
shield. No pointing going through the
trouble when the end wish is a 99 spec. I chose to go without it until I had a house
to garage the car to warrant a make over. Personally putting aside the fact that
there's an obvious flaw by not having it;
air travels the least resistive path, the
open cavity, I think the car looks like shit
without it. No one notices except for
myself and other Z owners but it drives
me nuts. There are thins that can be
removed from the car to make it more
asthetically pleasing but going shieldless is
not one of them.
