Message newer/final batch producing less of a whine in the past 12 months, and I read a few cases of "quiet" installs, so I decided to go for it and buy a set before they were unavailable and see how it goes.

I also poked around some on the web but found nobody that offered ring/pinions for our diffs, closest thing was the Ford 9" ring/pinion, but I'm assuming that isn't going to work. Granted I wouldnt even know how to begin to find a shop that would do a one-off, and I figured I was just meandering aimlessly down the same road that led Mr Leader to set up whatever deal he set up with Richmond.

I don't see why the ring/pinion have to be noisy, someone had to make the OEM for Nissan, and with all the big HP cars here I have never read of the OEM R&P being the weak link. I understand why Richmond Gears are noisy, street car needs aren't their concern.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every principle of our socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without ever knowing how it happened.... I no longer need to run on the Socialist Party ticket because the Democrat Party has now adopted our platform."
