Message is that even before they had them (~1998), they were still driveable in winter. Honestly, RWD cars give more feedback as to the conditions and are easier to bring back into control versus a FWD.

Honestly, how were you driving and what tires did you have? If you are driving like the road conditions aren't bad, then what do you expect? Seriously!

I know numerous people that have driven their Z32s in the winter without issue. In fact, one of them said it's easier to drive than an S13 or S14 because the vehicle has more weight.

I am not implying the Mercedes and BMW went RWD because of their performance in snow. In fact, their AWD platforms are still RWD biased... I wonder why... I am simply stating that from my experience, when you lose control on a FWD vehcile, you are done for whereas you have more hope in a RWD vehicle to bring it back.

As well, please define your driving experience in "Canadian" Winters. Vancouver doesn't count. Try Northern Ontario or Alberta, etc.
