Message	Or maybe they set the scale differently. Tint % is the amount of light let in. So 15% let's 15% of light through and 5% will let 5% through and so on and so forth. Just had my tint ticket signed off here in Cali. The officer actually had me roll down the windows and feel both sides with his fingers because no film of any kind is apparently legal.
