Message All of the "2.5 inch" intercooler piping being sold is 2.5" OD. The Z1 throttle bodies are also 2.5" OD. Standard 2.5" ID silicone couplers fit perfectly between 2.5" IC piping and the Z1 TBs. The ID of the Z1 TB's is 58mm which is a tad smaller than the ID of a 2.5" thin wall pipe. The walls of the TBs need to be thicker for a number of reasons. The ID of Z1 TBs is significantly larger than stock with the capacity to move considerably more air through. Portmatching the stock upper intake plenum to the Z1 TBs requires removing a substantial amount of material. We don't see good reason to go larger on the ID of the Z1 TBs.
