| Finally got my 91 na coupe to the dealership to get dash lites and brake lites repaired. In which i did and paid to have the work done, but what made the visit enteresting is when the service guy called me in the evening to pick the car up, he says man we need to talk about this car. Then he starts talkin about the other problems the car has and starts going on about how i need new rotors, rear end etc. and continues to tell me how many problems the car has as though there is no help for it. So i told him i know of the other problems and i even told him when i dropped the car off that it was my baby and that i was fixing 1 thing at a time. So he starts saying well when you get here ill let my tech explain all the problems you got and i sayed fine just please give the driver my number when he gets here to pick me up. He says ok the guy will be there in 20 minutes. Now its been 50 minutes because the driver set in my apt. complex for 30 minutes without calling. I called service guy and he says dont worry any minute he should be there. Then he(the service guy)calls back 30secs later and says the driver has been at your place for 30 minutes...i asked did you give my number like i asked, he says sorry i got busy...so i run out get in with the driver and he's mad at me for sitting there and i told him service guy forgot to give you my number. he says thats ok you just have to ride with me now while i go pick up 2 other people. So I'm riding in the courtesy van for an entire hour with driver and believe or not, when we picked up the other 2 people he just set there at there places also without calling them either...must be some kind of policy....I even asked him do you want me to go get em he said thats ok theyll be out....so now im wondering why he was upset with me when he wouldnt even call to say im here waiting. Heck if i was a courtesy driver i wouldnt sit at anyones place for more than a minute without calling. Anyway all 4 of us finally make it back to the dealership and service guy takes me to the back to meet tech working on my car. Tech worker comes from the break room yapping about "man i drove this thing and its just baadddd" "this thing needs all this work" "you need a new rear end differential, and new rotors" and i just wanted to see if you wanted to put all your money into this thing because a rear end differential will run you about $6000"....I replied with first of all can you stop calling my car this thing its my baby and not that bad off. I then said i only hav the car here for the lites, did you fix....he says oh yes i did those first. Then he starts trying to be nice by saying i just wanted to make sure we were on the same page and see if you were really serious about fixing this car. ( so in other words lets not waist yours or my time if you dont have the mega money to get it fixed but you know he wouldn just say that) he and the service guy then continues drilling me about the rear end and rotors so badly to where i was almost begging them to let me pay for the work you did on the lites today so i can get my ass out of here...but they wouldnt shut up. Now last but not least what makes the day krazy is that the car is now running ruff now as in a missing pattern or if its not getting gas right but in any event its not running like it was when i took it in there. So now i have to go back to these people to let them know about this brand new problem that they created suddenly because it didnt start until after i left in which im sure they are going to deny they had anything to do with. What do you think am i right? Anyway i saw a removed rear end differintial at a junk yard in good shape with wheels shocks and rear arms still attached for $350....they did eventually say if i get one they will install the 3rd leg for $400.... i didnt like how they were making it seem like my car was a lost cause when that is totally not the case plus the lite repair was only $100 bucs nor did i like the fact that the driver was mad at me when it wasnt my fault and i really dont like how now my car is running bad after leaving the dealership. Any advise would be great...thanks and thank god for tt.net
