building a slicktop TTZ that I will trailer to the track. You can find cheap slicktops quite easily today. My street Z has gotten too nice over the years such that I am not comfortable tracking it anymore. I feel the same way with my GT-R. I have a 240SX with an SR that I have tracked but it also has so much invested in it and it just doesn't have the torque of a Z32. My slicktop is being built with a lot of spare parts and I won't have any regrets if I ball it up and lose it. I am actually going to let my buddies drive it at the track as well so that we can all have some fun and not worry about wrecking our street cars.
