So Iv been researching about some car security systems and there is no great choices that jump out at me. Iv seen a few names that seem to keep coming up (Clifford, Autopage..) but i really dont know what im looking at. I need and experienced opinion. What do you think the most effective alarm system available right now is? My brother's truck was broken into today and stripped of a few thousand dollars in stereo equipment and tools. So Im looking for something that has tamper detection.
Iv even thought about Lowjack. Possibly, but with a good alarm I can make it kill the fuel pump, so im not worried about it being taken as much. Mainly asshole looking for a quick stereo/Defi gauge/boost controller grab. I mean this car is my investment as well as my passion. I want to protect it as much as possible.
