I am in the process of developing a plan to run the factory Bose radio & CD player output (when i find a working CD unit) to aftermarket amps. From the amps the the audio will be directly pushed to all speakers. In addition, I would like to hook up an ipod to the system. My question is about sound quality...Being that all output will be driven through an aftermarket EQ, is there any reason to be concerned about the quality of the source processing signal (Bose Headunit)? I plan to use my iPod for 90% of my listening experience, but like the option of using the radio or the occasional CD. Suggestions? Has they already been done?
