| No, the shaft from the shifter sheared off inside the shift knob. There were about 1 and a half threads left on the shifter. About the only way to save the old threads would have been to cut the old shift knob off of them. I *did* buy a new boot and knob (red stitched Nismo) from Z1 to replace the knob (which was badly scraped up), and the boot (which was also not in such great shape).
