		| Message | could be due to a wide range in the current position of these cars bumper supports.  The bumper supports are attached to shock absorbers
 and I suspect that their position could be a few to several millimeters out
 in either direction for any number of reasons given the age of these
 vehicles.  The FSM actually suggests testing the bumper supports shock
 absorber by applying "pressure to compress shock absorber at least 10
 mm".
 Based on my own experience, 10 mm certainly would have been a problem.
