As I stated above, I don't believe that the dimensions of the Selin kit
should be affected by they type of fascia since they are attached to the
bumper support, not the fascia.Therefore, I only see two possible causes to your problem, as follows: 1) Both the elbows AND the bracket that you got from Selin are from a
bad batch that are somehow too long, causing the air filters to push the
air guide too far forward, or 2) Your bumper support is pushed in (ie. closer than spec to the oil
cooler and electric fan) perhaps from a previous fender bender or low
speed collision? Given that Selin would have to have a bad batch of both the silicon
elbows and the metal bracket and then combine these bad batches into
the specific kit that they sent you, I am inclined to guess that option 2) is
more likely the correct answer.
