| This is to allow you to place different tunes on one board and select between the ones you wish to run. You can tune (or have someone tune) your car under different situations such as pump and race fuel and save the tunes to what is called a BIN file. You then take the BIN files and have them programmed onto these boards. This way you can switch programs with a switch instead of taking out the eprom and putting another eprom in. So you do not need a Nistune board or anything else installed but you do want to have a couple of different tunes in order to use these boards. If you did have a Nistune setup and were tuning or having your car tuned and had different setups saved you could still use these boards. You would have your final Nistune tunes burned to these boards and swap the Nistune board out with one of these boards for everyday driving. This way you can make a change quickly and/or will not need to have a laptop present at all times.
