Message :...a SB Chevy e-pump?
:The Z32 market is way too small for large production runs of a product like this, I wish it was big enough to justify making 100+ pumps at a time to reduce the end cost, but it simply isn't. When you compare my price to a more common application such as the SB Chevy, which retail for ~$300, IMO my price is a bargain if you consider the design complexity and limited market.
:Everyone's entitled to their opinion, so here's mine: If you have to state your opinion that it's too expensive, at the very least think about what goes into developing something like this before jumping to the conclusion that the price is too high.
:I have easily put 100 hours of design time into these with countless iterations, bought a Meziere and CSR pump to compare their differences and benefits, then invested in the first production run of 7 units without a guarantee that one would ever sell.
:In the end, if the price is still too high for you, then build one yourself and see how much you save.

It's great that people are developing aftermarket products for the Z market, but is an electric water pump worth $600? Are the gains from going with an electric pump worth it when an oem pump is $100?
