similar to a reduction box you'd use on a rock crawler or something but instead of increasing the toque with mechanical advantage I want to increase the input RPM to the gearbox with a mechanical disadvantage. Basically a large overdrive between the crankshaft and flywheel. I think a 1.85 or 2:1 ratio would be about right. I could keep the VG at stock redline for reliability and still produce 13-14K rpm to the gearbox which would yield 170-190mph top speed.
