Message Morning,

Rebuilding the pumps are pretty straight forward. You save quite a bit of money by rebuilding the used unit. You will 95% of the time find that the stock oil pumps are in excellent condition and need only a quick look through and cleaning to go forward with a build. They normally are only trashed when you have metal run through them and damages the gears and casing internally. Outside of that you rebuild, check clearances, and reassemble. My oil pumps however are ported to increase oil flow and help in recovery. No one else does this at this point in time but Im sure ppl will start to.

There is nothing wrong with rebuilding an oil pump. If its cleaned properly and assembled properly its as good as buying a brand new OEM pump. There are no kits needed to do so either. I offer this service to my customers as its a much cheaper alternative to buying a brand new one and being brand new still doesn't save you from getting a faulty or dirty product. I not too long ago posted images of a brand new oil pump i I opened to clean out before installing on a customers engine and it was extremely dirty on the inside.

Overall I've had ppl ask me why would you charge nearly the same rate for a ported pump vs a stock pump. Difference is without you paying the core charge you actually get a performance product in your hand over the standard OE unit. These oil pumps do work and I have several running around right now with no issues.

If you have any questions for me feel free to send me an email.
