I posted a message on 8/28 regarding my transmission woes. I am happy to report that my 92 NA is finally back on the road. :) Just in time to store it for winter. :( I'm sure many of you have faced similar situations and know it can be nerve racking to decide between spending big buck$ for these repairs or being frugal but accepting the risks associated with used parts purchased over the Internet from people you don't know. I rolled the rice and purchased a used transmission from ZXRider. It paid off! The trans is as strong as he claimed and the transaction/shipping went smoothly. To boot, he provided good advice for me to pass along to the mechanic. Needless to say, he has my "endorsement" for anyone considering purchasing from him in the future. Thanks ZXRider!
