I actually used R-blox over the original Dynamat, as it's more cost effective. I did the hatch, wheel wells, behind the seats, and the doors where shown in pictures. I also did the outer door skin, behind the speaker. I did not do the floor, as I didn't feel like removing the carpet, nor did I do the transmission tunnel. I did the latex foam in the doors and the carpet pad as Gordo stated in his AutoFAQ, and that definitely quiets the doors down. As far as EQs go, I went with a remote mount component style Audiocontrol EQQ. I chose it because I'm using it as a system EQ, not a fuck-around-with-it-every-song EQ. I'll be tuning the system once, then putting the protective cover on it and forgetting it. I have a 5 band EQ in the Alpine head unit for playing around with. I chose the EQQ in particular because of the incredibly low distortion, very high signal to noise ratio, and the fact it's entirely analog. Additionally, it's a 4 channel EQ, so I can do the whole system with one unit. With a 2 channel EQ, I'd need 2 to keep the fader functional.
