Message	the release of the top are in good working order. The buttons to release the convertible top are near the opening of the driver side door about midway in the interior of the car. There is a also little knob you pull that releases the top when you are ready to put it back up. Make sure this knob is not stripped. Check to make sure the button that opens the trunk is operational. It is located in the center console underneath the cover. Basically, fully open and fully close the top a few times yourself to make sure all is in working order. Don't let the seller do it for you.
