Message Standard single intake program from Specialtyz, 93 octane fuel. Some other pertinent mods:

-Upgraded cast manifolds
-3"down pipes
-3" test pipes

Notice the boost spike around 4750rpm

Dyno with boost

Dyno with wideband (funky readings around 2k rpm, don't know why)

Some other notes on the Dyno setup. I noticed that they did not have the air blowing over the intercoolers, radiator only :( so I might have some heat soak issues. Their wideband was on the fritz so we used the signal from my PLX wideband from the driver's side exhaust. It worked out pretty good. We used their MAP sensor for pressure readings.

I have been chasing some boost spikes for a while now. I think it boils down to the actuator preload. The higher boost I go the less boost spike I get using my Blitz boost controller (even using gain settings set to zero). Natural boost with controller bypassed is around 15psi. I believe I need to lower the bast boost to around 12psi.

Overall I like the turbo kit however from searching other peoples dynos of similar turbos 2.5-4K region is a little low on torque. I was expecting about another 30-50ft-lbs in that rpm range. Base timing is set @ 15 degrees.

Other interesting observations, hp drops off over 6.5Krpm, Overall peak torque I believe is a little low, was expecting about another 15-20lb-ft.

Perhaps the 2.5" intercooler piping, throttle bodies, and larger inlet/outlet intercoolers are in order. Maybe that will increase torque across the board. Other than altering the tune I am at a loss on how to bump up the torque keeping the turbos I have on the vehicle.

Any ideas???
