I'm on my second pair of these in 225/50/16. I find they have more grip than I'll ever need in dry conditions, they're rock solid in the rain, and I can get through a few inches of snow with ease. Granted I have an NA, so they might not be sticky enough for a TT that gets driven hard. I can't say I'd reccomend them if you plan on driving the car hard in the twisties, but if your priority is having a car that will get you where you need to go in most weather conditions, I don't think you can beat them. If you can still find them (Tire rack is sold out of 225/50/16), they run about $90 a piece. My current set has ~50% of the tread left, and I've got around 15k miles on them, so they'll last a while too.
