Message When I hear expanded maps the first thing that comes to mind is maps greater than 16 columns of cells. I was curious if Kent (ConVerTT) had either found a way to create a larger than 16x16 map in Nistune or if he had created one using something else and was able to use it our ECUs and in Nistune. As far as I know Nistune was not capable of doing that and neither is our ECU capable of processing that. Or is it?

I know other software such as Hondata is able to expand maps for more columns of cells to allow additional boost. The honda ECUs for this are using similar eproms with their 29C256 EEPROMs. Their factory maps are 20 x 10 and Romdata expands them to 20 x 16 and 24 x 16. So this make me wonder if you were to create a larger than 16x16 map for our eproms (which is posible) if our ECUs would make use of it.
