The chassis currently weighs 1029 lbs and all that's missing is the powerplant and brake calipers. It will still be quite light and the VG offers the power potential I hope to achieve in the car at some point. The Busa V8 is nice but still maxes out at 10,000 RPM (VS 10,800 for the normal 1.3L Busa motor). I considered (and still am to some extent) the 04-06 Yamaha R1 motor since it makes 175hp in a light 1000cc package and revs to 13,750. The problem lies in the integral gearbox, in 6th gear at redline the primary sprocket (output shaft) only spins at 7155 rpm which is identical to that of a VG with a slightly raised rev limit. Now I have a complicated drivetrain that produces sub 200hp and doesn't gain me any top speed over a normal car engine. I am still open to ideas but so far the VG seems to be my best choice. I know the engines well and being a Z freak I have 3 engines in various forms of completion at my disposal so that really helps out the wallet. Rob
