Sorry i didn't mention this in my first post, but it was burning in the back of my head and forgot to post. I looked under the Suburban and the Excursion for this tax, and no go for them. Hell I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee which got about 12 mpg in the summer which is bad. What got me is that they are getting the guys with money for a 80K sports car but are turning a blind eye for all those gas guzzler SUV's. Which do you think pollute more as a whole:
Vipers vs. Suburbans.
Ferrari vs. Excursions. They are just taking advantage of people who can afford 80K cars vs. 40K cars. not the mileage. But hell if you can afford a 100K car, 3K ain't that bad! Chuck
