Maybe those JWT elbows I was trying are abit different than some of the newer ones coming out.
Are you JWT filters a smaller size in some respects than the Z1 (similarly) styled pop chanrgers?
I see you have a bit of space between the oem oil cooler and filters. Unfortunately, I've got the Z1 (Earl's) Oil Cooler. It's mounting plate brings it forward a few inches and it's top portion is much higher than the oem one.
Looking at your's straight on it appears that the elbows create an almost perfect path straight down. The JWT elbows I tried didn't even come close to that geometry. Like they weren't kicked back far enough to give that straight up and down appearance that you have.
I'm curious to know that after the MAF/Filter is attached to the bottom coupler of the elbow, is there some grunting and pushing involved to get the shoulders of the filters together?
I see the shoulders/base of your filters don't even touch whereas most of the other pics I've seen of other's applications, they do touch.I was curious to see if others with after market (larger) oil coolers have had issues trying to instrall a Daul Intake. Maybe it's a combination of Z1 filter size and less space available due to larger oil cooler.
